As far as I can tell, one person - "Adam Zeis" over at CB, says he has gotten .1746. No other reports. Is it possible that this person has a pre-release PB and got an early look at the next candidate release? Have you seen any other reports of .1746 appearing?

What does one (availability of an OS update) have to do with the other (number of units sold)? And please don't tell me you are coming to your conclusions as a result of reading through various forums.

If RIM were actually pushing out this update, and if they were staggering it, then I would expect it to not take very long as currently there wouldn't be that many units out there in need of an update. That's the connection I'm talking about. It's fairly simple speculation, but IF this update were being rolled out to everyone... well... we'd all have it by now.

Nope. I'm using pur speculation from the Crackberry article where they announced it was being rolled out.

All I'm really asking is has anyone else downloaded it. Answer is no, so its case closed.
