Default What happens if two BES's are using the same SRP key?

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I'm new at this as well. I've got something similar as well but there are extra messages like "Service V2 GME packet received" in between repetitions.

I'm not sure if it's because two BES's we have are using the same SRP key. It started happening when I installed the second BES. Is it possible to get at least one of them working again if I just shut down the other one? Or do I have to request for two new SRP keys?

Help appreciated!

Tsk Tsk. RIM has locked the SRP.
You can't have two servers using the same SRP at the same time.

You'll have to call them and ask them to unlock it.

You cannot simply re-use an SRP key on a second box and in fact your SRP may be locked out if you attempt this. RIM wants money for a second key.

Also, proper forum etiquette dictates that you start your own thread for your own issue. Please do not "piggy back" on someone else's thread.
