RIM offers/requires certification for their partners, be it carriers or resellers. Usually corporations would not be offered certification paths, as they would typically not be reselling their support services or BlackBerry products. From that standpoint, since there is no profit to really be gained on the certification, it would not be all that feasible. However, when you can gain certification to resale or support BlackBerry products and services for the sake of profit, and considering what the markup is for their products (which I would assume is quite substantial, considering the prices), you could essentially easily make back any money invested in the certification process.

Considering the hour plus hold times to speak to RIM's first level support these days, it would be a very lucrative alternative support offering from a company just starting out, in my opinion.
