Default 8120: Texting Messing Is Messed Up?!

Please Login to Remove!

Whenever I type a text and I made a mistake or type, I click "DEL" and then it pops out my MENU options? then it sends automaically when i'm not even done? what the heckk...? when i click "DEL" it just blinks and doesn't delete..?!

i done turn off my phone and take out my battery, i did take out my battery without turning off my phone. can this be done?

the "DEL" button is more like a "enter" i don't know..

Yes, it is safe (and recommended) to do a battery pull with the device powered on. Has the device been dropped or come in contact with moisture recently?

certainly not, i take good care of my phone. my phone is like my baby. =/ i don't know why it's acting up!

maybe when i was taking a shower?? and i left the phone where the sink was? and the steam must got in the keypad or something? i dont know.. because it started acting up after taking a shower..

Yes, that is pretty common. Hot showers will cause steam/moisture. If the device was in the area, there's a good chance it might have moisture damage.

That's why I no longer take showers. Just kidding.

I would remove the battery, place the the device in a bag of uncooked rice to try to remove any possible moisture. It may be too late but it's worth a try.

Also there should be water damage indicators on the back of the device. Are they still white?
