So, I had a red Pearl which I sold to get a Bold..... which I ended up getting a Curve for now. lol anyways, I took the battery out of the Pearl, working fine, and when I sold it to my friend he had issues with it working. It barely texts, if at all and misses calls like none other. Its like it won't register the SIM card. We're both on the AT&T network. Any help would be great! Thanks

Is he trying to use an older SIM card? Blackberry's tend to prefer the newer SIM cards that AT&T gives out and not the older ones that work okay in regular phones. Not sure if this helps but I have seen this posted as an issue before.

Ahhhh, this could be true. He had it in a razor for a while. I can have my friend at AT&T give him a new one.... Try that and see how that goes!!!
