HI,

I am going CRAZY trying to figure this thing out. I am a previous owner of the Treo 600, 650 and PC6700 and decided to make the switch after hearing all of the great things about the device. One week later I am ready to return it unless I can get help from you.

My device will NOT wirelessly update my calendar or contacts. I have the email working fine. I have read in the manual that I have to make sure that the option to wirelessly reconcile is switched to on BUT that is not even listed in the menu of options in the contacts or calendar. It is in the messaging menu so I know what to look for.

Also, any emails with long text or text messaged get cut off and there is no option to download the remaining text.

Is it possible i need updated software on the device and if yes where do I find it?

Thanks in advance for your help. I really like the device and will love it if I can get all of the features to work.

Are you on BIS or BES? If you are using the BIS there is no way to wirelessly sync your calendar and contacts, you'll have to use the cable and BB Desktop software.

You need to be using a BES for the wireless tasks, calendar, etc.

In terms of the message length you should have a menu option for 'more' and 'more all', and under email options you should be able to toggle 'auto more' or something like that so it fetches as you scroll.
