Default Anyone using TrafficEdge successfully on thier 8700c?

Please Login to Remove!

I downloaded the trial and can't seem to be able to zoom in on the Traffic Maps. Also the banner at the bottom of map screen claims it's an update from 11/30. I'm getting no response make from SW author. TIA.

I did not do anything special and I have no trouble zooming / navigating at all.

My 8700c is brand new - maybe you have an older version of the BB software installed?

Mind shooting me the link you used to get the version you have or post it? I just went out to the Edge site and 1.3.1 appears to be the most recent release. I'm currently at 1.3.1 Is that the version you have installed? And what, pray tell, key(s) are you using to zoom in? Now I referring to the traffic maps where you see the traffic cones spread out indicating events. You can zoom in on those?

Thanks in advance.

AFAIK there is only 1 software version for the 8700c

I am using TrafficEdge v. 1.31

Click the wheel and select change camera
Select your state, then your area
Then use the wheel to scroll up/down
Hold Alt and wheel to scroll left/right

It does not zoom in close, but I do not need / want any closer than the default view.

Question 8700c and cannot connect to TrafficEdge WAP

My WAP VERSION bb is from February this year and I consistently get operation cannot be performed. Had all my wap settings checked by Cingular without any success in connecting.

I think that I have the BES version installed even though I'm on BIS and it works!
