Default backup contacts - no BES, broken USB port

Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

I have a Blackberry Curve...but the USB port on the Curve is broken and therefore I can not synchronize my contacts using Desktop Manager because I can not connect to a PC.

I do not have BES so I can not do a wireless sync neither.

The contacts that I have on my Curve has email address, mailing address, and phone numbers, so I understand that copying these contacts to my SIM card will not backup everything.

Is there a way to copy these contacts to the SD memory card? Or how else can I copy these contacts?

Thanks!

Helen

You can't copy to the SD card. The only option you have is bluetooth to your computer if you have that capability on the computer.

How do I use bluetooth to copy all the contacts from my Curve to the Desktop? I just looked in the manual but it just tells me to use the Media Manager. How do I actually backup the contacts once I connect the computer to the Curve?

Once you get it connected via bluetooth (you'll need to make sure you have the generic windows drivers installed for bluetooth) and then use the Desktop Manager's Backup/Restore feature.
