Default Touch and beyond!!

Please Login to Remove!

Hi everyone,

I have a Bold 9780 and am considering upgrading it to a 9800 Torch.
The thing is, I have heard that there are more than one or two 'issues' with the screen lock and turning of the carrier etc., because of the touch screen.

Firstly, are these comments correct / justified?
Secondly, are there any plans to launch a Torch2 dealing with the teathing problems of the current Torch?

Questions, questions, questions; does this boy know anything .................. no!

You might want to read through the 9800 section and see what users are saying. There are some issues out there relative tot he screen lock and the "manage connections" screen opening.

As for the Torch 2, please check the Rumors section.

I have used pretty much every model rim released and this one is the first one that I think does everything that I need. But then again it is all about personal preferences. Not sure I'd like it if I ever had to go back to a classic and for me boring type of berry with small screen. Let alone browsing experience, those are two worlds man.

yeah im with the rest of the peeps here. I have no issues (except a few minor OS6 issues) with my torch. Regarding the "screen lock" issue...are you referring to the Tilt lock? And i don't understand what "turning of the carrier" means.

I assume that you mean the 9800? Please update your profile if that is the case.
