I've been using my BB without a password for a long time. I now want to set a password in case my device is lost of stolen. I went to
Settings, Options, Security Options, General Settings
But when I click on enable, it doesn't ask me to enter a password. Does anyone know how to enter a password into the device?

What model handheld and what version of the OS are you using?
The answer you get depends on that.
