I use a micro SD with adapter in my camera. If I moved the micro SD to my phone would I be able to tranfer the pictures to the playbook ?

In posting my request for info about tranferring picrures I should have added "with the use of the computer". I now travel with a netbook which enables me to back up pictures so that I don't lose them if I lose the camera. What I want to do is replace the netbook with a playbook and so I wanted a method of tranferring pictures from camera to playbook.

No way I can think of to get the picture files from the camera directly to the PlayBook. Even right now, if you put the microSD card in the smartphone, the brdige files app doesn't allow you to so much as view the files on the tablet, much less copy from smartphone to tablet. But maybe in a future OS update.

Something to look at might be putting the card in the smarthphone and then using the smartphone to transfer the files to a cloud storage service such as Dropbox.
