Default Tour's Browser usefulnesss - any tweaks?

Please Login to Remove!

Maybe its because Im old, but I find the internet browser on my Tour is completely useless to me. Way too small even after zooming in. Kinda presumed that going in, and luckily dont use it that much, but when I do I can read any pages because text is too small even after zooming and increasing font size. Hoping Im missing a little trick to make it more useful. Thanks!

Keep zooming. I usually have to zoom in 2-3 times on some WAP pages, like Continental's. It's a real pain.

Open the browser. Press the Menu button. Select Column View.

I think you mean Options -> General Properties -> Default View = Column

Yes. That will permanently change it.

But if you have a website open, the "Column View/Page View" option shows on the menu immediately for that page.

You think the BB browser is small, try the Bolt browser. I can read the BB browser with my classes on, I cannot read the Bolt Browser with classes on.

The column view is just one of two steps for those of us with old eyes. Choose options and set the font size for browsing. Try a few sizes. It makes a huge difference.

I tried the Opera mini beta was super but then loaded beta 2 and it locked up phone. Using Bolt and with the proper settings magnification XX large it works fine, allows you to save login and passwords for web sites, and move favorites to the order that you want. Takes a little trial and error to figure it all out but other than that very nice for us "old" folk.
