so can you clear up which device on which network in which country you are having problems with.

sorry Midnightdraven was using 9000 before it got wet and I had to get a new one....
I am using a Tour and I went for it because its a smaller version of 9000 in the keypad wise...I don't really have the need of a wifi.
I am in the UK on Vodafone and this tour is a unlocked version.
And you have the Blackberry data plan on your account?
Theorectically there shouldn't be a problem, as app world is available in the UK, and most likely vodafone.
Its possible that because its not a BB released by your carrier that the correct service books are not in place.

Yes, but the 9000 is supported by vodafone.
They themselves sell it, so they have the service books to distribute.
The Tour has not been released in the UK.
No carriers in the UK have the specific service books for it.
Its possible its what is causing the problem.
