I've changed the thread title since this is/was a nationwide outage. Things do seem to be back to normal, at least for me on TMo in Oregon.

Default Still having trouble

I'm in Nashville, TN and have had problems for the last 3 days. I'm on a Pearl 8120. I called Verizon yesterday and was told it was an outage problem to be resolved by end of day. So this morning, checked phone, all was well. I received all my emails from the day before, was able to use internet. Life was good. Fast forward 2 hours later, I'm at work and now it's not working. I called Verizon again. This time the woman wanted to walk me through all the resetting stuff. I've done this so many times in the last year I can do it in my sleep. I tried all of that, soft reset, register, service books, blah blah blah. I kept telling her I was told it was an outage and she told me she didn't have any info on that. Eventually she tells me to do a hard reset and I refused. I'm tired of that being the answer. She finally told me she'd call me back. I'm so tired of this crap... and I'm wondering if I need to switch to another phone, or another service... is anyone as tired as I am of this?

blackberry's have data outages. it's not so much a particular carrier (thats why a CSR can be dumbfounded by a data outage) or type of phone, but sometimes its a location (east coast, south, etc).

my question is how you managed to get your GSM 8120 on verizon's CDMA network anyways

Mine started working again this morning but BIS email seems to be delayed by 5-10 minutes. (SE Region)
