I'm having a couple of issues wondering if anyone can help.

1. When I get a SMS txt and my ph is in my holster. When I take my phone out my holster and unlock it automatically opens to the txt. I checked my SMS options>General Options>Auto open newest msg after removing from holster. It is set for NEVER.

2. I travel a lot for work and my I like my ph time to change to the local time. My time stays on my home time. Do I have to change it manually everytime I travel???

3. I'm on Verizon and Usually I can update my roaming capability by dialing *228 send. It will not let me input *. I hit alt A* and i just get an A.

Any help would be appreciated

2. Yes, unfortunately.

3. I had that happen before, but you have to open the phone app and put the cursor in (highlight) the area above the call log list. Then you can use the *.

Any advice on 1...I don't like my txt msg to automatically open. I've been known to get a risque text from my wifey here and there don't want others to see it...

erm, try toggling the setting to something else. save
then back
save.

and possibly try a battery pull.

Ive had my bold charging in a pod, got a FB notification and picked it up immediately and its opened facebook.
whereas if i leave it for 30 seconds longer it doesnt....

Message will automatically open if you remove the BB from the holster within the first 15-20 seconds of the message coming in. There is no way to change that.
