I have a number of questions -
1) I am on a contract with Vodafone NZ - Do I need to upgrade my plan for Data charges.
2) Does New Zealand have a BBIM system like the US does where you can pay a set fee per month for blackberry messaging to others PIN numbers
3) In June I am moving to America for 1 year and hope to use the blackberry in America. I currently have an american sim card that is with T Mobile . The current plan is a prepaid plan but I plan on upgrading it to a 1 year contract while in America. Can I simply put the Tmobile simcard in and Go ? If not what would I need to do to make this work.
4) Are emails going to be a major issue. I am fairly IT savvy, I work for a ISP in New Zealand currently. I see that often these phones come with an hour of professional traning, Are they really that hard to get to know.
Tips/Help/Thoughts Welcomed.
Thanks

1. You need a
BlackBerry data plan. Regular data plans do not work.
2. Once you have a BlackBerry data plan, you can use BBM with anyone worldwide.
3. You will need to get the device unlocked if it is not already in order to use the T-Mobile card. Please check out our sponsor,
HorizonWirelessOnline.com - Horizon Wireless, The World’s Cellular Repair Center ß. Further, you will need to get a BlackBerry data plan with T-Mobile.
4. For a tech-savvy person, they are not hard to get to know.

No. It has built-in GPS.
