Please Login to Remove!

hi everyone,

just got my curve 8320 a few days ago. i set up my work e-mail account without a hitch, but for some reason, now whenever i receive an e-mail on that account, it ALSO will show up in my text message folder.

any way i can stop that? i hope i'm not getting charged per e-mail!

thanks for your time.

That is normal. You should be able to go to the Messages folder, press the Menu key and select Options. Then select General Options and scroll down to SMS and Email Inboxes. Change that to Separate.

It's not showing up in the text message folder. It's showing up in the 'Messages' folder, which will show all messages. You can't change that. What you can do is activate the sms/mms folder that will just show text messages and then hide the 'messages' folder.

Go to Messages > Menu > Options > General Options > SMS and Email Inboxes = Separate

Select your Messages icon > click the Menu Key > scroll down to Options > select General Options > scroll down to SMS and Email Inbox > click the thumbwheel and select Separate. You will now see an additional icon next to your Messages icon, that will contain your text messages.

Hi all,

This doesn't seem to work on my ATT 8310, could it be because I am using the ATT Theme?

Thanks!

What doesn't work? Do you have the option to make the folders separate?

I do, but there is no separate folder that shows on the home screen.

Keep looking, it should say 'SMS and MMS'. I have the AT&T theme as well and it's there.

You may need to press the Menu key when you have all the icons showing and select Show All to see if the icon is hidden.

Done - but still nothing. Let me try a different theme and get back to everyone.

Thanks for the suggestions.

Look in the Applications Folder, I bet it is hiding in there.
