Should be possible, but check with Sprint to see it there is an extra plan required. I don't know if it's Verizon or Sprint, but I recall one of them requiring a separate "tethering" plan. A guy in this thread says he's using it as a modem. Maybe PM him (or shoot him a PIN message) and ask about his setup.

You have to upgrade to a different plan though. I want to say its $10 more a month than the normal BB unlimited.

I tether an 8800 to my MacBook Pro via Bluetooth, works great. I'm on AT&T though, not sure what settings you'd need for Sprint.
