windows 8 pc, 4months old and never a problem until I installed Backberry link. Pc keeps crashing , so I uninstalled and reinstalled several times but it still keeps crashing. Saved a log file but where do I send it. Help on this is invisible. What with lack of support with Outlook and this,I wish I had never bothered with this phone

I can feel with you. I am trying to get my head round this phone myself. Not so much the user interface but the integration into my System and necessary adaptions. From what Google spat at me by now it appears to be quite helpful to use an Outlook.com account and integrate that into Office.
For this and various other reasons I am considering Office 365 for myself at the moment as a possible solution.

That should make BB Link obsolete. As copying files can be done easier with the Explorer/scripts/what not. And Protect offers you an even better solution to back up/ Transfer your phone data. Syncing then gets done automatically airborn. That should allow you to wipe BB Link of your computer all together.
