I got my tour for verizon way back when it first came out. I always wondered why people would tell me "oh i left you a voicemail, you didnt get it?" My phone came with the voicemail notification off. I called my voicemail last night to check if there was even anything in it. Come to find out its full and i had no idea. I lost my job about a month ago and i've been putting in a bunch of applications at places. I check the voicemails and of course there's places calling me back for interviews, but it filled up on october 30th so who knows what's happened since then. I finally realized how to turn on the notification. I really want to complain to blackberry for that. I feel as though its not that a big deal for it to come off, but atleast let the customer know, i was a couple months with no idea what was wrong with my voicemail. Is it worth giving a complaint towards blackberry?

Voicemail is a carrier thing, not a blackberry thing.

Ive never seen anywhere on a blackberry to enable voicemail notification.
Can I just ask where the "turn on" for it was?

when i dial up my voicemail, the first option for 1 is turn message indicator on/off... i never thought id have to turn it on. considering every phone ive ever had it actually let me know without me having to adjust it. it just pisses me off that verizon never let me know before i left the store with it.

Ah, right. Yeh Verizon's fault.
No idea why it wasn't on, perhaps it was an assumption on verizon's part that you would call voicemail to set it up.
