Hi, I just received two hand me down blackberries from my sister. One is a blackberry 8300 and the other, I dont know. Its larger but I dont know what it is, is there a way I can find out?

Power up the BlackBerry, then go to Options > About

The first line should tell you the Model Number

On your device, it might be Settings > Options > About
Or Tools > Options > About

blackberry 8700.

I like the look of the 8700 better then the 8300 - Is the 8700 the newer model? Okay here comes a goof learning from the bottom up, any suggestions on where to start? B T W I am very very slow... bear with me.

The 8300 is much newer than the 8700.
