Hello People..

I just got my 8820 two days ago.
All Easy Set Up were DONE - as usual..

Got problem when trying to use with my corporate email.
Just Realized that BB work on POP/IMAP only.
I didn't know until I tried all 'activation ways' - just didn't work.
My gmail account set up was OK though.
My admin personnel informed me that my company uses OWA and or ActiveSync protocol instead of POP3/IMAP.
All those activation suggestions looked like a normal ways of mail setting - but I just couldn't activate it. The error message are always the same - connection can not be established...
I believe this is not the first thing for Blackberry users here... Or anybody might have some good idea/trick to help me?

Another challenge is on the WiFi side.
All hardware connection is already established. My 8820 can ping and can be ping. But the browser could not be used for WiFi connection.
The browser only works on GPRS connection.

Can anybody please help on these issues?

Welcome to the community.

For both questions, you say that you're using this device under corporate structures? Are you on a BES? If so, you may need to contact your BES administrator or someone in the IT department to help you set these up. Under BES, your company can and may have restricted you from certain functions...

Thanks for responding.
My IT admin does not restrict my BB. He was also confused how to help me..
Since the webmail can be accessed using usual method. But when the same method being exercised from BB website it didn't work.
No - I did not use on Corporate structure. I use my personal BB but can get permission to access corporate email. My IT admin may just need some one's help on this.. ;-0

Is your company's internet and e-mail services running on their own servers?

Yes. We have our own mail server.
