I do not think we have iPhone to thank for the faster phone releases. RIM decided to go after the consumer market way before the first iPhone.

the 9000 has been in the works since last year, its not really a fast release. If anything it had been pushed back several times (along with 4.5 OS)

yep i agree. Its better it works than doesnt. Also, i wont call the thing the Bold... its always going to be the 9000 to me.
