Default I have Sprint 8830 thinking of switching to ATT for 9000, should I?

Please Login to Remove!

Everybody has their own pro's and con's here are mine and let me know what you guys think. Sorry for the lengthy questions.

I used to have a 3rd party employee plan with sprint that was badass included EVERYTHING on my bb830 for 30 a month. CompUSA went under, I dont have it anymore now i pay for the unlimited plan 99 a month.

Pro's of sprint-I like sprint because of the speed of the connection
Con- the 8830 is a great phone but i love having the newest and greatest (curve or 9000)

I would definately wait for the 9000 as to get all the perks of being a new customer with rebates on the phone and what not.

QUESTION 1- I live in miami,FL so I know we have 3G coverage here. will the 3G internet on the 9000 be faster than the sprint cdma?

QUESTION 2- will I for about $100 or so monthly be able to have a comparitive plan on ATT? (sprints 100- includes BB DATA PLAN, SPRINT TELENAV, and EVERY other addon except PAM)

the plan on ATT would be $50 more per month. Also since it is only speculation on IF AT&T will be getting the 9000 (or if the 9000 will ever even be released) there is really no effective way to answer your question.

What will be 50 more a month, 50 more than what I am paying? 50 more for 3g?

Noted, but if it does get released for att I would like to have done my homework already to know if I will switch or not.

*edit* nevermind i see that it is 150 for ATT unlimited with BB...and an extra 10 for navigation. so it would be 60 more a month.

Don't forget that no one has anything remotely resembling a release date for the 9000...

I would stick with Sprint and get the 8330 when it comes out next month. The 9000 doesn't really look to be that much better then the updated Curve Sprint is getting.

Both are devices that are not in distribution...
So a judgement may be a bit premature.

Isn't this a bit like selling your house so you can buy your dream house but not having another place to move into?
