I am using my unlocked BB in Israel. But when I get text mess. (SMS) from people in comes in Hebrew fonts. My BB will not pick up these fonts, and I cannot read it. Any idea how to fix it? I am using a local number with a local SIM card.

You might want to move this. This is the 8100 section... maybe in the section for your series or the General forums. Might ge a faster response.

You will need to install Semetic fonts on the device in order to read Hebrew letters. You need to make sure you have the handheld software for the Pearl installed on your computer, along with Desktop Manager. Then, go into Application Loader to determine whether or not it is installed.

i can receive hebrew but i cannot input hebrew

i downloaded all the java files at the site by treitel but it still did not help

there was no 'check' box for hebrew input

when i loaded a different app through dm appliocation loader it automatically erased all the files as unrecognized modules

anyone have an idea-

am running 4.2

what phone model? if its a suretype model, that might be an issue. i dont think the files were mada for suretype
