Like everything out there you can only take it so seriously, but it does confirm O2 release for 4.5 tomorrow...

It might be a looong day lol.
i really really hope they do not release it tomorrow. if they do many many many people will downgrade before the week is out.

Hope I'm wrong, but it looks like the O2 page could mean April 2008... The 8th would be nice though.

baltee, I agree with that completely. Given the only two 'dates' on that page is March 08 and April 08, it seems to be a designation of year rather than day.

4.5 will be a nice refresh... The html piece missing is a major bummer. I am not sure how blackberry will compete with windows mobile and iphonish things in the future. Rim has dominated in the enterprise world, but they are to slow in implementation and new features.

They move at a snails pace.. I know.. I have dealings with rim devs.

I would be shocked if it came out before the end of Q2. Shocked.

Here's a question... why isn't O2 appearing under the "Europe" section for blackberry device software downloads??

Truth is that i don't know why people, that understand what is a blackberry and what a OS upgrade means, will be complaining about, as far as i can tell (v4.5.0.9 over BIS) the new look of tasks, browser, messages, etc. is really nice, the (i think) new font is really good and full windows video. My only problem so far is that i haven't been able to open an attachmente ussing docs to go, but i'll probably buy the premiun version when is out, so not a big deal.

so, i really don't know why people will complain about.

Word docs worked for me as well as viewing presentations but I can see it getting better before it goes live to the public.

documents that you load onto the device can be viewed with Docs2Go, though unless you have the BIS/BES upgrade, you will not be able to save attachments to the media card.
