Default DM keeps indicating updated device software

Everytime I try to install an application using desktop manager it tells me there is updated device software available even though that is not the case. Anyone else had this issue?

I've actually had this problem ever since I first installed DM 4.7. Even after installing 5.0, it's still there. Like you, I even tried going through with the "update", only to have it end with the "there have been no changes made to your phone" type message. I don't know how to get around this. I just have to click on cancel every time I open DM :(

the solution is supposedly to install with both options of "automatic updates"
(one under custom install, one where it asks to install desktop shortcut) disabled.
Ive done this, it doesnt work.
the only other way is to disconnect from the internet before running.

It is because it checks for the software updates wirelessly for your phone.
