Default BB Lost - Delete or Disable on BES?

Please Login to Remove!

I have a user who has lost their BB. Through BES Express, I have specified a password and locked the device to protect the data. The users suspects her BB may be found but would like a temporary device setup while she continues to search for the old one.

I have a spare BB that I have installed the SIM and activated the phone#. I am looking for the best way to add email/calendar/contacts for this user. If I disable them as a user on their lost BB, can this same user be setup on the new temporary device? Then if the lost BB is found, can I re-enable and restore all the data?

Any suggestions on how to deal with this?

Default Re: BB Lost - Delete or Disable on BES?

Set a new activation password, activate the new phone. If the old phone is found, repeat the process on the old phone. No need to back anything up.

The old phone while being lost will still remain locked (assuming that command was received BTW) until it's unlocked or nuked back into the stoneage.
