Seeing as I can neither do without WiFi nor QWERTY, I'll be HAPPILY sticking with my Bold.

I tried the Storm today and found it to be too laggy, the keyboard too difficult in both portrait and landscape modes. If you're going to be pounding out 70-100 emails and messages daily, that touch screen will grow old real quick.

In the end, the only way you're going to be able to decide is to try both devices up close and personal.

Agree... storm good for college kid or casual email... I sent three messages and would have paid $1k for the bold back. luckily it was still in my other pocket.

Have both devices (Bold for 2 weeks; Storm for a day) and I think my verdict is going to be that the Bold blows the Storm away (at least for me)....see my post in this thread...I go into more detail:

http://www.blackberryforums.com/gene...ml#post1177936

Definitely need to give the Storm some more time but doubt I will change my mind....it's that big of a difference.

I'm having the same debate right now. I posted on ATT website, but they took my post down. I want to go with ATT but can't come up with a good enough reason to pay the extra money they're asking for the Bold.

Storms benefits:

Bigger screen (the screen is dimmer than the Bold's, but it's still really nice)
3.2 MP camera
Free 8GB MicroSD card (that's another $25!)
$150 cheaper than the Bold ($100 cheaper after MIR, if you qualify)

Storms deficiencies:

Lack of customer service provided by Verizon. (THE reason I left Verizon in the first place)
New USB standard for charging (I've been using BB for years and have several of the old charge cables at home, at work, in the car, at friend's houses, etc)
New technology = bugs

I really want 3G for tethering. Both devices would satisfy me from that perspective...

It appears to me that the Bold has no "silver bullet" against the Storm, so why the premium in $$$$??

Default Me personally, the Bold.

Just got to play with a Storm. VERY slow response times. But, that could get better in future software updates. On-Screen keyboard is a novelty, but for my fat fingers I just can't make it work well. I prefer the actual keyboard on my Bold. It has already been mentioned, but the lack of track-ball makes it more difficult for editing a document since you have to use your finger to pinpoint the cursor. Again, fat fingers... Nice camera, but for a business tool the one with the Bold is sufficient. Lack of WiFi isn't a deal breaker, but would sure be nice to have with that big screen if you are going to do any real web surfing.

I will stick with my Bold.

Just my opinion, so take it for what it's worth.
