Loving my new Bold since yesterday but, what's the deal with the camera???

I've taken shots with it, side by side, with my 8310 and the ones from my Bold stink!!

What's up with that?

Really? I have a slew from my 8310 and seeing them thumbnail view next to new ones the bold took I clearly can see less grain in the ones from the bold. They are both 2mp but there was definitley a CCD upgrade or something else on the bold to make the pics clearer.

Double-check the lens of the Bold to make sure there are no smudges on it, or any lend protecting film.

The camera is pretty good on my Bold. Switched from the iPhone and I think the pictures on the iPhone look a little better than the Bold. Although, having video recording, MMS, and a flash make up for it

Don't expect too much. I have a Nikon digital SLR camera, and yet if I take a picture in poor lighting conditions, it's grainy. If you're saying you're getting a grainy picture in broad daylight, then try forcing the flash to come on. I don't know if there's a way to manually control the ISO setting, but that would be the best way to control graininess...but that would also make pictures a bit more cumbersome to snap...

As I said before, I've taken shots with my 8310, and compared them!

There's something wrong with my Bold but thanks!
