I dropped my phone from a considerable height and once I put the battery back in and secured the back the screen came up weird and faded. I bought a replacement screen and all i have is plain white, the phone still works though cos it vibrates and LED flashes. Any suggestions? I have tried the insulating tape thing and no luck.

If the connector is not defective maybe you have the wrong screen. Is it an original OEM with the same numbers.
