Am I missing something? Is there a way to lock the number keys without having to slide the physical keyboard open? It's otherwise a pain to input a long number through the touch keyboard.

I just got myself a BB 9780 as a X'mas present - still waiting for activation on BIS - BB Internet Services. Tried the keyboard but found typing in many numbers in sequence (continuously) a chore! I am so used to the Nokia E series i.e. E52, E72 and lastly E5. By pressing twice on that slanting arrow key on the extreme left bottom of the qwerty keyboard on E5, I could just simply type all the numbers seamlessly. It seems that my presnt BB doesnt have this feature. But then someone just mention 'just hold on to the numbers u typing for more than 1 sec'. Looks like that is the only way to input numbers!
