Please Login to Remove!

Hi,

Ive got a 4gb memory card which i want to use with my blackberry curve 8520, but my phone dosent recognise the media card. I have tried various memory cards and formatted the 4gb memory card on many occasions but still nothing works. The error message reads "A media card is not presently inserted in the device".

Ive tried everything, but nothing works.

Any Help Appreciated

How did you format the card? where , PC or Blackberry

1. On the Home screen or in a folder, click the Options icon.
2. Click Memory.
3. Press the Menu key.
4. Click Format.
5. Complete the instructions on the screen.

iv tried various cards with different sizes and still get the same result. I think its something to do with the software.

Unhappy Media card with errors

I have a similar problem.. I have a scandisk 8G media card, but I pulled disconnected my phone to quickly after ejecting it and since a pop up appears on my screen everytime I turn my phone on saying "this media card contains errors please use a disk checking utility"... So I did, and it says it cannot be unmounted... don't know what that means.
Then I read that if I backed up my music and pictures (that are for some reason still available when I plug my phone into my computer - but not on my phone when disconnected) I could format the card... so I tried that, only to see that the message still appears....
Please help! I have been ignoring this for 3 months now and I'm going crazy without my music or pictures!
Thank you.
