Make sure you have at least version 4.1 of the device software installed. It can be obtained through your wireless provider. Also ensure the Plazmic Theme Reader is installed as well. Both the theme and the reader also have to be the versions for your particular series Blackberry.

I had the same problem. You need to install the application onto your phone that allows you to use the plazmic themes. You'd think that they'd make this step a little more obvious in the download. You can install it over the air (OTA) as well. Go to www dot milleniastudio dot com / bbota dot html

Sorry I can't post the actual link but this forum has some retarded rule about having to post 10 times before you can put a link up. Boy that's dumb!

It kills me when you see a product and they don't include the obvious issues with getting something to work.

Product? Yeah, sure. Its free and there is a handy FAQ for anyone who cares to read the thing that answers questions like yours after reading about 6 lines. Hope that doesn't kill anyone to have to read that much.

You need the theme reader application, and the theme file, and you need to reboot your device - worked no prob for me.

I went into Advanced Options then Applications and i deleted it from there, but it still shows up under themes and it still works.

Did you reboot your handset after you deleted it?

I have found I do not need the Plazmic Theme Reader on my 8700g w/T-Mobile service to run the theme, but I installed it anyway. I know its a free theme and I wish I could keep it, but the fact that when you change the font size in the "Screen/Keyboard" preferences, it does not change in all the apps is a deal breaker for me. For example, in my email messages, when I see my list of emails it is a small font to read, but in other themes the listing font changes with whatever font size you choose.....too bad for the far-sighted.

Thanks for sharing that. The fonts and the terrible wings are both deal breakers for me.
