Default Outlook and Blackberry

Please Login to Remove!

Every since I upgraded the OS on my Pearl, a new phenomena has developed. If I am in MS Outlooks (and I use BIS), if I reply to mail, that original mail comes BACK to my Blackberry. That never used to occur. Is there a way to stop this? To clarify: I want mail to be forwarded (if it comes to Outlook, it comes to BB). But if delete it from BB and have already opened it, if I go into Outlook to do a reply, it shouldn't re-forward.

Are you forwarding email from Outlook to the BB?

If you are set up in BIS, you do not need to use a forward. Mail should be automatically pushed to the device via RIM, assuming that you have "Leave Mail on Server" checked in your Outlook advanced setup.

Sorry, it is being "pushed." But if it has been pushed, I open it, delete in on handheld, then later, go into Outlook, and decide to reply to that mail, it is now REPUSHED to the BB. That didn't used to happen.

New one on me. Let me move this to the General Section. Maybe someone else might have a fix for you.

Thanks for moving it here.

So let me get this straight. If you reply to an email and send it from the BB then the original (not the reply) email is forwarded to your BB again?

What type of email account is this? Outlook is irrelevant as BIS doesn't retrieve mail from Outlook.

Not exactly. If mail comes to my Outlook email address (X), and is "pushed" to my BB (Y), I often delete from "handheld only."(Y) Then, if I go back into Outlook on my PC, and reply (Z) to that Email (X), the email itself (X) is PUSHED AGAIN to the BB (essentially (Y) returns to the BB).

This only happened since I upgraded the BB to V4.5.0.66 (Platform 3.2.0.48). One tech person said it is "normal" for this hassle with that OS. It's a nuisance, hard to believe it is normal. I do not use a BES, just a BIS which shows the Outlook account. This also happens with my Yahoo mail through BIS.
