The latest OS 247 is the best so far, and I have been going through all of them! I wish I got this OS when I unboxed my Bold a few months ago.

I definitely like it, only one thing is a bit annoying somewhere in between all the upgrades, the information on the media card when looking at stored videos, music, etc. do not come up so easily anymore but only via explorer,I have not figured out why they don't show my default...

I usually delete all of the BBThumbs.dat files...that usually does the trick.

I don't know if this has anything to do with this new OS, but with .247 I can no longer save the third party apps in a folder with the BB PIN by doing the first half of the "Switch devices" from one BB to another in the Desktop Manager. This is a neat trick I learned in some BB tips--doing this ahead of an OS upgrade creates an alx file with all the 3rd party apps with their cods, just in case the upgrade fails and you have to wipe the BB or start from scratch.

When I try to do it, it looks at all the apps, but doesn't copy them to the usual folder in the temps directory, nor create the folder, for that matter.

Anyone else run into this problem?

Exclamation Issues noted

Less than 24 hours after upgrade and this is the only issues I have seen:

When reading some messages, display suddenly changes to 'Revese Contrast'. If I check it under 'Options-Advanced-Accessibility-Color Contrast' its still set at 'Normal'. Changing it to 'Reverse Contrast' will make it normal or rebooting the device will bring it to normal. This has happened 3 times so far in less than 24 hours.

Anyone else notice this?

I want a bold but I'll have to do with the 8320 Curve. There's not a whole lot of difference so it's not worth the upgrade.

You've got to be kidding in saying there's not a lot of difference between the bold and the 8320.

They are still on OS .167 so far as I can tell---I don't think they've ever upgraded it since I bought the Bold several months ago. What is their thinking? Are they just waiting for a super-stable new OS? Don't we have that in .247?
Yes att is still on .167.... still i looked all att for a newer one and no luckno change to .247 here

What can I do to restor my original vendor.xml?

3G is dropping the data connection after a few hours. 221 was the most stable 3G OS for me.
244 has the annoying .rem bug

3G on .247 is dropping as most people pointed out.
.244 worked great for me. Didn't really mind the .rem issue as not a heavy user of the media card.
How can I fall back to the .244 using the Blackberry desktop manager. Do not want to use the uploader as I do not want to re-activate my BES?

Any ideas?
Thanks,
E

Rolling back to 244.
With 247 I am experiencing data connection losses/lags and 3G instability

Seems 244 has the same 3G issues as 247.

Might revert to 221 on monday if this is confirmed. (in 2G, Edge mode only, no problems at all)

Think I'll just stick with 237 until AT&T puts out their next official release with Visual Voicemail

I got the impression that AT&T is, at best, slow about official updates...
