Hello,

I had Japanese input capability on OS 7.0.0.254 and extracted all of my COD files.

Now that I'm on OS 7.1.0.190 that doesn't have Japanese input support, does anyone know which COD files I'd need to inject in order to install Japanese input?

I'm guessing it should start with net_rim_tid_AWnnJapanese.cod, but which other cod files need to go along with it.

Any help would be appreciated.

Have you tried to add the language pack? If one is not available for the OS you have It may be better to downgrade. Sometimes fixing something that is not broke causes some unwanted problems.

This is a list of all the file *__ja.cod from 7.1.0.74
Maybe adding these will enable input.

Really?? I would use the language pack. A lot easier.
