How much memory does your 8700 normally have free during normal use? Mine has about 46.5MB's after a hard reset and then quickly bleeds out to about 43MB's. Anyone have more? less?

It all depends on how many applications you have installed and how many emails, contacts, appointments, etc, you have. As long as you have 1 or 2 MB free you will be fine. The BlackBerry automatically deletes the oldest messages when it needs to free up space.

one less thing you have to worry about on the 8700 vs the 72xx is the LMM it works much better if you ask me

after reboot, about 34-35mb space free. After a few hours of use, the ends up more like 29-31mb.

Does it continue to drop or does it level out at a certain number?

No, it doesn't continue to drop. It usually sticks around 30mb. The drop is likely due to running programs that keep something in the memory or loads and keeps certain data, like BB Weather, etc.

It doesn't continue to drop unless you have a memory leak (like on a lot of the Pearls).

Mine drops down to about 14MB, but I have loads of data. It still runs as well as when I bought it.
