Is there any threat to my Blackberry Storm about the rumored Conficker virus that is going to be unleashed tommarow? It might be a stupid question but I just want to make sure my phone Isnt hacked or anything.

From Conficker - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Quote:
Conficker, also known as Downup, Downadup and Kido, is a computer worm that surfaced in October 2008 and targets the Microsoft Windows operating system.[1] The worm exploits a previously patched vulnerability in the Windows Server service used by Windows 2000, Windows XP, Windows Vista, Windows Server 2003, Windows Server 2008, Windows 7 Beta, and Windows Server 2008 R2 Beta.[2] The worm has been unusually difficult for network operators and law enforcement to counter because of its combined use of advanced malware techniques.
BB's don't run Windows.

Conflicker is Windows-only. Although it may be a major issue for Windows users, we Blackberry folks have nothing to worry about. To us, Conflicker is mostly* harmless. Feel free to ignore it completely.

* The only fear for us is for the pc we use to sync and backup our Blackberrys.

We use OpenDNS | Providing A Safer And Faster Internet here at my office. It replaces your ISP's dns service. It's free and they actively block conficker from phoning home. They also do great web filtering. Check it out.
