Default Blackberry Releases Desktop 4.5 For Download.

Please Login to Remove!

Hi Everyone, I just read in BBNews that Blackberry just added 4.5 Desktop for download. Is there any reason to download 4.5? I am on T-Mobile with a 8320 Curve running OS 4.2.2.180 on my Blackberry.
Thanks!!

It's like any software release on any platform. If it fits your needs/wants or if you're a tech geek then go for it.

Desktop 4.5 doesn't recognize Outlook 2007 on my home PC when syncing my 8320 on T-Mobile. Gives me an error message along the lines of "Cannot find program in list..." (that quote could be off). I've researched and the best solution I've found online was to downgrade.

No, if you follow the order of the thread, we both were referring to Outlook 2003.

DM 43.5 "should" work find with Outlook 07, however. I see you are having problems as you mentioned in the other other thread.

I have loaded DM 4.5 on both my work computer and my home computer in both places I use Outlook 2007 and it had no problem syncing with each computer. Not sure what happened in your circumstance, but from my side it works just fine.

I also like the Roxio Media Manager upgrade. Alot smoother than before.

When I go to configure the programs to sync with (selecting Outlook), I get all the way through the process until I click on "Finish", and the error message pops up. This happens the same way for calendar, tasks, and notes.

My mistake John, I thought I had read in the cure or bold forum that the new manager may possibly include macs. Thanks for the 411...

There is a mediasync that will sync iTunes to the BB. But, I've heard of no Desktop Manager for Mac other than PocketMac.
