I've searched and seen people say to OTA or download a theme but I have not idea what to do here. I'm new to blackberry and lots of terms are new to me.

I searched the site and found a nice theme someone made. I copied it to my desktop and got a few files ending in .cod and .jad

I thought I could just load up my desktop manager and make it work but I can't.

What do I need to do to get this custom theme onto my Pearl?

Hey there, files with .jad are OTA meaning you can open the Web site where the link resides on your BB browser. Then Get Link which will automatically download the file to your BB. The other option is to send the link to your email, open it up in your BB mailbox and Get Link from there.

Now the option is the Desktop loader which you can do with .cod files. Just make sure you have your BB hooked up to your PC via USB and you should be able to load the file.

If it's a jad you have to download it OTA (over the air) through the browser. In order to use desktop manager you have to have an alx file for it.
