Default Amazon at $149

Please Login to Remove!

When AT&T is still not flexing with their BOLD price ($399 with $100 rebate - $299), I ended up buying MY Bold at Amazon for $149 ($249 up front with $100 rebate). On top of that, there was no tax & they gave me free OVERNIGHT shipping (after they were slow in processing my order). On top of this, they sold me a Jawbone II for a reduced price of $65 (their regular price was $84 & AT&T sold at a firm $129). Screw AT&T if they don't want to be competitive with their own services & exclusives! A customer can go around their back cheaper & still sign up for the AT&T service through Amazon with no hidden dangers!

Probably. Now ATT reduced the price to $200 (new or renewal 2 year). Not in stores, online only. I think you get some $100 Visa cash card as part of it. it's all over.

Here's the link. And yes, it's with a new service plan.

Just checked my account online (Premier...with a FAN #) and it shows the upgrade price as $399 with no discount for a line that is eligible for upgrade.

Does anyone know if that price applies if I buy more than one Bold at once? I'm considering switching my family, which would be 3 phones at one pop.

I had the same question when I purchased mine from Amazon and it seems that the price is $150.00 per phone after rebate. However, keep in mind that each phone will have a monthly $30.00 data plan fee along with you family plan.

Thanks!

The cost of the family plan + data services is comparable (a little higher, but not much) than what I'm paying now, so I'm braced for that particular impact.

Since quality control with the Bold appears to be a little, uhm, lackluster to say the least, does anyone know what the procedure is to get a replacement phone if you buy one through Amazon or other online cellular retailer? I'm assuming you can't just bring a phone in to an AT&T corporate store and swap it out.
