Hi. I have the 8700g and am a t-mobile customer. However, when I follow the directions on their screen to download instant messaging I do not have the link (directions below). Could someone please forward me the actual web address/URL so I can type it manually into my browser? I would greatly appreciate your assistance.

Their support instructions say:
Downloading Instant Messaging (BlackBerry 8700g™)
To use instant messaging, first download instant messaging applications to your device.
To download instant messaging, perform the following steps:
1. At the Home screen, scroll to the Internet Browser icon, click trackwheel.
2. Scroll to Internet Browser Links, click trackwheel, click Expand.
3. Scroll to Install Instant Messaging, and then click the trackwheel.
4. Click Get Link. The device will download the instant messaging application.

Keep in mind that the Instant Messaging that T-mobile offers uses SMS. So you may want to add on to your plan for Unlimited Texting. I am not sure if T-mobile still offers that though.
