I'm changing from an iPhone 4 to a Blackberry 9900

I've had 2 BB before I bought the iPhone (Curve 8300 and Gemini 8520)

I decided to change to an iPhone because thought my BB was too slow and the battery life wasn't that good, but probably things have changed

so I wanted to know if you recommend the 9900?

what about battery life? (I use twitter A LOT)
the camera?

thanks!

I gladly recommend the 9900.

As far as the camera goes, I'm inclined to say that both are essentially a "wash". You'll get roughly the same results from either.

Since you state that you are a heavy Twitter user, then the 9900's fantastic keyboard would be of value to you. The overall build quality of the 9900 is excellent as well. It just "feels" well put together, especially compared to the 8520 and 8300, which I suggest you relegate to the past.

Battery life, well, it depends on how you use it. Lengthy phone calls using Bluetooth will drain it fast. It is not as good as the 9700 / 9780, but should come within range of the iPhone 4.

Bottom line, I'd say you would do fine with the 9900. I am very happy with mine.

Hope this helps.

You would also do well with a 9700. Smaller than the 9900 but still pretty comfortable to type on, plus the battery life will be slightly better. Subjectively, I'd estimate my 9650 (CDMA version of the 9700) had about 10% better battery life than my 9930.

I dont own a 9900 but re your question, from what I heard of the camera, it is not as good as the previous bold ones. The 9900 doesnt have auto focus so dont expect it to be better cam than the one your had on you IPhone. I would suggest the 9810 but if your going for the design 9900 looks sexier.
