Since doing the most recent software upgrade on my Storm 2, my phone keeps loosing the ability to post pics directly to FB.

I used to be able to take a pic and then select from either emailing, messaging it or loading it to FB but now that option randomly disappears with no warning. Then I have to uninstall the app and reinstall it to get the option back.

Any suggestions?

Just a pointer -

Anyone having an issue such as I was having where logging in was being rejected and when logged in, it would kick you out.

To resolve this,

Go to facebook on your PC

Go to Account - Privacy Settings - Apps & Websites (Click Edit) then navigate to the Blackberry app and REMOVE this.

Restart your phone and your problems shall be solved.

I can't get the notification to go away from my home screen. I checked my notifications in the app AND through a PC, I highlighted todays date in the app and selected mark prior as read, went through each of the messages, Did a battery pull, removed the app and it went away, reinstalled the app and it came back, so I deleted all my notifications in the facebook app and it's STILL there..

dont think this is entirely true, as someone else i know has the 8520 like i do, and they have no issues checking into places.
Personally i think it's really frustrating and VERY annoying to have the app there but not be able to use it.
I have spent hours on online forums etc searching for a solution, tried all sorts and NOTHING works for me.
Seems it works for some but not others, and nobody is willing to take responsibility for it, or do anything about it. Nobody I have chatted online to can offer a solution that resolves this issue. I have literally spent over 10 hours trying to find a solution and trying all the actions suggested.

Really considering dumping my bb and going back to nokia phones, used nokias for ten years, and only got this bb this year, contract or not I am seriously cosidering NEVER getting a bb again!
