Default GPS \ Speedometer Software

Please Login to Remove!

So, for the 8100 series, which I have an 8110, I have downloaded a couple of programs that seemed very interesting to me.

First, speedOmeter looked cool, so I downloaded and ran it. Come to find out, the program display goes off the right edge of my BB screen which causes it to refresh only when another program is put up in front of it. (Despite that it said it only works with the 8300s, I gave it a try anyhow.)

Second, I downloaded Nav4All, and a few other GPS programs just to play around with. So far, Nav4All is the only program that I have not Deleted from my phone for GPS purposes. Also, Nav4All is pretty awesome, and easy-to-use, once you figure out how to use it.

I was wondering if there is any GPS software out there that is as easy to use as Nav4All but at the same time displayed your current speed (based on GPS location) and, if possible, the Speed Limit of the road you are on.

On a final note, I did not find out that I had GPS capabilities until I downloaded Nav4All. (Maybe they should put it in the Pearl Documentation.)

Gpsed.com has a beta program that will show you speed and some other items. Kind of a cool app if you want to keep track of that sort of thing

Yeah, I like to watch my driving speed as well as knowing the Speed Limit of a road that does not have a signs so that I may set Cruise Control Accordingly. Plus my speedometer is 3MPH off and I can find no one around that has the utility to reset my Honda's Internal Computer System.

Nav4All shows my speed, but only under GPS information, and that menu does not provide Navigation and is in small text, so perhaps I will go check out these links that you guys have provided.

Are you sure that this pertains to the rate at which one Travels by running, jogging, or driving, or is it the speed of your bandwidth? -- The link points to nowhere also.

BBTracker may give you that. It doesn't give you any speed limit warnings but I believe it shows speed and direction of travel.
