OK, I'll ask - why is it so bad? Poorly written, or what? I've tried it out, with varying results.

This software program isn't favored too greatly by theme builders who only offer their themes for OTA download. Theme builders who offer OTA download only, do so as a means to have more control over how their themes are distributed and in an effort to curb 'theme thefts' from happening. This software basically makes all those preventative methods taken by the builder useless.

I'm very sympathetic to theme designers and concerns about what this program can potentially do to making the theft problem much worse. I'm just curious as to whether you were referring to the above issue or whether the program is also flawed and doesn't work. The concept of being able to back things up is a nice one.

>> EDIT -- disregard my question. I see 3 posts between when I started typing and clarification that the objection is to the concept itself.

I am referring to the fact that is allows others to steal themes AND software. It works fine. Now lets get back on topic.

Hyperlinks are hyperlinks, whether you're viewing them through your BB browser, pasting them from an e-mail, or opening them on your desktop. OTA certainly has limited value as a means of controlling distribution. Piracy will happen one way or another. Shoot, what do you think RIM and Plazmic think of the latest flurry of extracted icons from all the carrier themes? If it's in readily usable (i.e., not encrypted) digital format, someone is going to figure out a way to manipulate it.

I certainly don't condone piracy, but it seems there are different standards being applied - even in this very thread.

I'll stop with the hijacking now - all this business is detracting from the incredible theme work going on here.

Sorry Steven.

Very well done. This is one of the best themes out there. I normally do not run an icon theme, but this one is so clean, I am okay with it. The large clock is perfect.

Thank you for the time and hard work you put into this, and I hope you are recognized by the community for your efforts.

This is why I LOVE to make themes. Thanks for the props! I am also sporting the Icon version. I just thought it looked better and suited my "needs"...

Theme is very clean. Pretty good. I'm using todays theme. I've notice on the calender on main page. When you have an appointment month away, doesn't show clearly. Like everything crambed together. If it is in the current month it looks fine.

And also on mine, bottom icons has slots for 7 icons. Second from the left is blank, is there a way to add icon there or make changes to selection?

Hey, I have to apologize for my previous statement about the clock....I just downloaded the Bold Today & Bottom Dock theme you created & the clock on my screen is not big at all....it actually fits the screen well.

Also, I am big on creating folders....& this theme is the first one that again allows me the ability to change the folder....when I went to the beta OS 4.5 I lost that functionality....although I prefer the standard theme icons, it's nice to see it back.

Just thinking...maybe that clock size is standard....I will say I have noticed that the majority of themes I see have the same date & time....always wondered why that was, but anyway....great theme & I, too, now agree the clock's size is perfect!
