You need a blackberry data plan to use those apps.

So who is your carrier? Who are you using it with?
Its from them you need to get a blackberry data plan.

my career is Nepal telecom and it only provides Gprs service. do i need to activate GPRS!!!
plus i have my wireless internet in my home and at home i am able to connect to my wireless internet and use the blackberry browser with it.
its just that even if the wireless net is connected the messenger apps refuse to log in and says data service unavailable!!!!

Yes, thats because they require a blackberry data plan.
A blackberry is not like a regular phone.

Call Nepal Telecom and ask them if they have a BlackBerry data plan available and to sign you up for it if they do. It will probably cost about $10 more than a regular data plan, but will give you access to push email, Internet, etc.

After this is accomplished, go to Nepal Telecom's BlackBerry page (something like http://nepaltelecom.blackberry.com) and enter your Berry's MEID (under the battery) and PIN to register your Berry with RIM. Make certain your Berry is ON when you do this so it can receive service books.

Same problem - the SIM card you are using requires a specific BlackBerry Data Plan on it. Not a regular data plan. You must have a BlackBerry Data Plan to take advantage of all of the Blackberry functions.
