Best Storm Weather App?
Please Login to Remove!
Ok, as of right now, not months ago, but now. What is the best Weather app for the storm 2? (Now that I have more memory) Or is there such a thing? I assume that it will be a paid app. That’s why I’m asking you guys. I want something good to look at, with animated radar. Preferably one that does not send you somewhere else on the web to look at the radar. Also I have seen some with a little working icon that stays on the top of the main page. I am a travel baseball coach, and would love to be able to look at the radar to see upcoming and outgoing storms. I know that the best is personal preference, but there has to be one or two that stand out. Thanks…..

My two suggestions would be:
Weather Bug
or
BeWeather

Weatherbug works well with the Storm2 and also updates your location via the GPS.

FYI Seanecy: Berry Weather is the same as BeWeather
BeWeather is a much more polished app in my opinion.

I'd also say that BeWeather is the best. I especially like the ability to add custom animated radar.

The only issue is the home screen shows black and white icon image, but if i go to the second screen, it shows a nice big sun. ???. When i first downloaded it both were in color. wierd. And i have know idea how to add custom radar or the benifit. i see the button but.....

One more thing, while looking i saw a video on you tube of a guy with a pic background while he was scrolling through different cities. I see the change background button, but i cant find my way through the folders.

I like WeatherBug Elite, especially since I upgraded my O/S to .517 and the icons update on the home screen.

I have run The Weather Network on my 9530 for some time and its good. Short and Long Term forcasts. Nothing superfancy or memory consuming, but the icon runs on my home screen (Natemz theme) and displays weather and temperature.
Just FYI

Hi got Berryweather. Quite happy with it. Wish i could move the radar map to the left to see how far on coming storms are away. But no big deal. My wife got Beweather, did not notice any difference. Thanks for all the info guys.

Ok, I see the new custom map/media key in berryweather. How do I use it? For example could I put in a full United States animated radar map? If so witch one, and how do I get it in there? And media is used for what?

Best bet is to visit the developer's web site. It's got some tutorials on how to use custom maps.
