Hi

I just purchased a Red 8300 Curve from AT&T, I love it. Just need some help.

1: The CD software wont install on my Mac, can I get this software elsewhere.
2: Can I send and receive files through bluetooth?
3: How do I change the roller ball colour?
4: Is there anyway I can get my contacts from my iPhone to my Blackberry?
5: How do I change which applications I have on the home screen

1. You can't install Desktop Manager on a Mac. You'll need PocketMac or MissingSync.
2. Not from your PC but you can to/from other phones.
3. You can't
4. You should be able to sync the BB with the Mac PIM organizer (I'm not a Mac user.)
5. You can move icons around and hide icons on the desktop by hitting the menu key (left of trackball) and select "Move" or "Hide"

I saw a guy yesterday and his was purple, maybe its an older model? So I need to download one of the programs you said to sync with my mac and get music and phone numbers etc?

The 8100 is the only device that can have the trackball colored. And after it's upgraded to OS 4.5 it doesn't work anymore.

Yes, you need pocketmac or MissingSync. Search the forums here for more info. We have a Mac Users Corner forum too.

I personally find it easiest to just use a media card.

Plug the card separately into your Mac, upload files, then put it in your BB.

Is there no other way u can do it? Y is the software so poor for a mac?? Also can you not bluetooth stuff from a phone to the blackberry?
